Live Stream Zoom Fitness Classes

TUESDAYS "JUST STRENGTH"

9:00 AM EST

Get your dumbbells, kettle bells, weighted balls, resistance bands, plates, basically any resistance of your choice of 2-3 different weight levels. We will focus on strengthening major muscle groups, balance, and endurance.

 WEDNESDAYS CARDIO EXPRESS

8:30 AM EST

Get your cardio done for the day in 25 minutes! Sweat it out, get your steps in, get your heartrate up and be on with your Monday by 9:30 a.m.

THURSDAYS TOTAL BODY RESET

9:00 AM EST

Strength Circuits focusing on all the major muscle groups with 1 minute cardio bursts mixed in to get a Total Body Workout!

FRIDAYS FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

10:00 AM EST

Join the gang every Friday for a fun workout that focuses on the basics. This class is for everyone! There is no jumping, no high impact moves, and no getting down on the floor. And I always have fun upbeat music on to set the mood for a fun time together.

SATURDAYS HIIT IT

8:00 AM

A HIIT Class option for the weekend warrior in you! High Intensity Circuits with a balance of strength and cardio moves. 45 second intervals.

Live In Person Class Offerings

Fun Family Fitness

Grab your family and enjoy some fun outdoor fitness. Drills and Circuits will be set up to complete as a family. This class is held for 5 weeks two times a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall. We meet outside in my own private backyard in Centerville, Ohio.

Cardio, Core, and More

Join me as I coach you through a system of timed circuits. Keep moving and you will be surprised at how fast the time will fly with this high intensity class. We meet at St. George's Episcopal Church in Kettering, Ohio every Monday night from 5:30-6:30

Please bring your own mat to put down for floor exercises.

Modifications and Progressions will always be given to suit your fitness needs.

Back to the Basics

Join me every Friday for a fun and functional workout. Every class will consist of Strength, Low Impact Cardio, and Core and Balance Training. There will be no jumping, no floor work or getting up and down off the floor. You will need dumbbells, resistance bands, and a chair for seated modifications. This class is for everyone!

COMMON QUESTIONS

WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

I recommend you have an area dedicated for fitness especially if you plan to attend live stream workouts from your home. Now, this space doesn't have to be fancy or be equipped with expensive gym equipment. The most important thing is a dedicated space, once you have figured that out, then you will want to keep a mat or two in that space, whether it be rolled up and tucked away beside a couch or always laid out in that space on the floor. Believe me, I understand how making the most out of the space you got is. My home workout space has to be in my garage because we just don't have another room available for it right now. Next, I suggest investing in at least 3 different size sets of dumbbells. A light, a medium, and a heavy. I can't actually tell you what exact weight to purchase because there is no standard weight for everyone, we are all at different fitness levels. On average for a woman, that takes my classes, I can recommend a set of 3lb. weights, 5lb weights, and 8 or 10lb. weights. This would be a great starting point. 

I also recommend having resistance bands. They are fairly inexpensive and super easy to take anywhere, even on vacations. There are many ways to use them if you find yourself having to workout without weights or wanting to add "flavor" to your fitness routines. I also sometimes require them for my Functional Fitness Class.

So, let's see we have a space, a mat or two, dumbbells, resistance bands, I would say that's your basic necessities. Of course you can add equipment at your discretion, in my own personal space, I have a weight bench, a pull up bar, kettlebells, about 6 different size dumbbells, a barbell with plates, rollers for myofascial release, a step with risers, sliding discs, and other misc. circuit and egility equipment that I use for group training and special events.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?

I am different from a regular gym trainer because I am not one! I have worked for gyms and I am grateful for all the experience I have gained from them but being able to offer my clients results, loyalty, a community, safety, non-judgment, from a certified instructor with experience at a reasonable price is almost impossible at a gym. When you work with me, your not paying for a big company to trickle your money down a fountain of hands before it gets to the trainer who actually doesn't get their fare share in my opinion. Also, I create all of my own classes, routines, and challenges with my clients in mind. I love to make personal connections, offer advice when I can, and push you enough to where you feel empowered and motivated!

DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND WEIGHT MANAGEMENT COACHING?

The answer is Yes! I am an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Weight Management Specialist, therefore you will be working with a professional who will strive to understand, support, but most importantly get you to reach your weight loss goals and keep it off so you can live your life to the fullest potential!

WHO I AM

 I am a mother of 3 who is very busy, so I get it! Making time for fitness can be a challenge. I am an ACE Certified Fitness Instructor with over 6 years of experience teaching, coaching and motivating! I completed my Weight Management Specialist program through ACE (Academy on Exercise) as well.  I have been Silver Sneakers Certified for 4 years and I love working with that special population! I am a University of Pittsburgh Graduate, and a Military Spouse. I have always had a passion for fitness and helping others. Starting from a young age, as far back as the age of 10, I can remember following along to Tammy Lee Web Body of Steel VHS! Group Fitness is where I shine, and I can't wait for you to join me in a class!
